At ActivKare, we believe that access to essential medical supplies shouldn't be complicated. That’s why we’re proud to offer Direct Billing for ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program) approved clients, helping you get the incontinence and home healthcare supplies you need—without paying upfront.

We’ll work directly with your ODSP caseworker to simplify the process and get your products delivered monthly.

What is ODSP Direct Billing?

ODSP offers support for individuals living with disabilities who need assistance covering the cost of essential incontinence and medical supplies. Once approved, ActivKare can bill ODSP directly for eligible items, so you never have to worry about paying out-of-pocket.

How to Set Up Direct Billing

1. Speak with Your Caseworker
Let your ODSP worker know you'd like to receive your supplies from ActivKare. If you aren't sure who your ODSP caseworker is, you can contact your local ODSP office.

2. Physician’s Authorization
A doctor or nurse practitioner must complete the ODSP Mandatory Special Necessities (MSN) form, specifying your incontinence needs.

3. Submit the Documents
Your caseworker can fax or email the completed MSN form and approval to us.

4. We Handle the Rest
Once approved, we’ll reach out to confirm your monthly order and shipping details. Each month, we'll deliver your supplies and bill ODSP directly on your behalf.

If you have a client who is already approved for the Mandatory Special Necessities benefit, simply fax your approval for incontinence supplies—along with:

  • Your contact information for billing, and

  • The client’s contact details

We will contact the client within 1 business day to confirm their monthly order and shipping preferences. Invoices will be submitted to you via fax each month for prompt payment.

Eligible Products for ODSP Coverage

ODSP may cover a wide range of medical and incontinence supplies, including:

  • Adult briefs, pads, and pull-ups

  • External male collection systems

  • Cleansers, gloves, and barrier creams

  • Catheters and insertion kits

  • Urostomy and ostomy products

Coverage is determined based on medical need and product eligibility under ODSP guidelines.
